That was pretty much my reality every single day.
Between back-to-back meetings, urgent calls, sudden escalations, and the endless corporate shuffle—the classic 9-to-6 that somehow always started before 9 and never really wrapped up at 6—life felt like a constant balancing act. A hundred little things to juggle, always striving to keep every ball in the air.
Life was busy. Full. Sometimes wonderfully chaotic.
But somewhere between all that running around, there were these little pockets of quiet that I looked forward to the most.
Time with my daughter.
It started with a love for beautiful fragrances
My daughter and I have always shared a deep love for beautiful, soul-soothing fragrances. In the evenings, after long days of work and studies, we would sit together and talk about the scents that comforted us, the ones that felt too overpowering, and how wonderful it would be to craft candles that felt genuinely like home.
And, as these conversations often do, one thought led to another.
“What if we made our own?”
That little question stayed with us.
From one little corner of our home
What started as curiosity slowly turned into small-batch experiments in one corner of our sweet room in Trivandrum, Kerala.
There were plenty of trials, a few misses, lots of learning, and many moments of asking ourselves, “Does this smell right?”
We experimented with wax, fragrance combinations, wicks, jars and everything in between. We poured, waited, tested, adjusted and poured again.
And somewhere along the way, we realised this wasn’t just a little experiment anymore.
We were creating something we genuinely loved.
Something that brought together our love for fragrances, our obsession with getting the little details right, and our wish to create candles that could make ordinary moments feel just a little more special.
And Then Came Candle Cuddles
That little experiment eventually became Candle Cuddles. The name felt right because that is exactly what we wanted our candles to feel like: warm, comforting, and familiar—almost like a cuddle in candle form.
Today, every candle we create carries a piece of where we started.
We hand-pour our candles in small batches using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and carefully blended fragrances. From the wax and wick to the fragrance and final label, we pay attention to the little things—because we believe those little details matter most.
We want our candles to be the ones you light after a long day. The ones you reach for when you’re curling up with a book.
The ones burning quietly while you’re having coffee with someone you love. The ones you light simply because the room—and maybe your mood—could use a little warmth.
More than just candles
Candle Cuddles is still a small, homegrown brand from Trivandrum, Kerala.
And honestly, we like it that way.
We’re growing one candle, one fragrance and one happy customer at a time. What began as a conversation between a mother and daughter has become something we get to share with people beyond our little corner of home.
